Flava Bachata Dance Company

Flava Bachata Dance Company was formed in January 2016 in London by dancer and choreographer Juan Soto. His objective was to put together a strong bachata amateur group in the UK that would be able to perform and compete, nationally and internationally. After four months of hard work, the group took to the stage with their first choreography “Las morenas”, winning the first place in the World Latin Dance Cup qualifiers (category “Bachata Amateur Team”) in Antalya in May. Shortly after, Flava Bachata Dance Company was crowned UK Bachata student team champions during a national competition held in London in July 2016. The group is currently performing their second choreography “Tú”, with which they placed second at the 2017 World Salsa Summit (Bachata Amateur Team division) in Miami. Passion, commitment, dedication and a pure love for dance is what unites the members of this group.
